Cebu has much to offer...
The Queen City of the South and the country's oldest city is considered today as the top business and tourist destination of the Philippines.
From a small fishing village and trading port, Cebu has now grown into a highly urbanized metropolitan area where it still remains its stature as the center of trade and commerce
in the Southern Philippines since the Spanish colonial times. Modern malls, resorts and hotels, discos and bars, museums and parks...all within a compact geographical macrocosm.
Cebu is rich and varied bouquet of attractions touched with the warmth and charm of its people -- the Cebuanos.
Magellan's Cross
Planted by the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand magellan for the glory of Spain in 1521.
This marks the spot where the first Christian Filipinos were baptized.
The original cross is now encased in Tindalo to protect it from the further deterioration and housed in a monument shrine.
Carbon Market
A bargain-hunter's bazaar crammed with every conceivable buy. Hobnob with the Cebuano folk as you pick out your choice of handicrafts,
sweets, fruits, flowers, household items, vegetables, meat and fish!
