TOP END: The room charges for luxurious hotels are not so expensive as those in other Asian main cities. [TRANSPORTATION]SHUTTLE BUS: Comfortable buses, generally equipped with an air conditioner will take you from one of the main beaches/villages to another. You can make a reservation at travel agencies or bus companies. BEMO: This is the most common public transportation. The vehicle is shaped like a van, with the back seats turned around so passengers face each other, allowing the vehicle to seat over 10 people. Good for short distance, within the city of Denpasar, or to get you from places like Nusa Dua to Kuta to Sanur. TAXI: Many taxis are cruising in the main beaches or in Ubud. |
