Busch Gardens:
Busch Gardens is a Theme Park and Zoo all rolled into one. It is listed among the nation's top four zoos.
There is a train ride and a walkway around the park where you can look at many different animals, including, monkeys, alligators, elephants and antelope.
Besides exotic animals, Busch Gardens also features live shows and a variety of thrilling rides. | ![]() |
| Adventure Island: Located near Busch Gardens in Tampa, Adventure Island is a 36 acre water park. It is Tampa's only water park and features water flumes, swimming and diving areas. One of these rides is called Key West Rapids. It is a 6 story 700 foot long slide that contains twists, turns and speedy slopes. Four rafts can be hooked together to make a roller coaster of sorts on this slide. There is also has a children's play area, wave pool, speed slide and beach area. A combination ticket can be purchased for both Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. | ![]() |

Clearwater Beach:Clearwater Beach and Pier 60 are the most popular beach spots in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area. Pier 60 Park features a recreation complex on Clearwater's expansive beach with covered playgrounds, fishing and concessions. The sunsets at Pier 60 festival feature music, entertainment, and a beautiful Gulf of Mexico sunset.
Directions: From Interstate 275, take Exit 20 (S.R.60) and go west until it ends at Gulfview Boulevard in Clearwater Beach. The road leads directly to Pier 60 Park on the Gulf of Mexico. |

Siesta Key Public Beach:Located in Sarasota County, south of Tampa Bay,Siesta Beach has repeatedly won the the first place
in "The World's Finest and Whitest Sand" contest. The award-winning sand is 99% quartz and is perfectly white and soft. The sand is cool to the touch, even in the heat of summer.
Directions: Take I-275 from Tampa, and after crossing the distinctive Sunshine Skyway Bridge from St. Petersburg, you'll come accross I-75 where you get off at Exit 38. |
